13 mood verses: For difficult times

All living beings are prone to spend moments of difficulty, whether due to illness, family problems or any other situation that may arise. In those moments we can count on some mood verses for difficult times that have been written in the sacred scriptures so that we appropriate them in the midst of those moments of deep difficulty.

The word of God was inspired by the same Heavenly Father God who used as instruments straight men who kept their receptions and served and followed him and that is why all those texts that we can find in that sacred book can help us in all moments we need it.

There are texts in this sacred book that seem to be written especially for us, we just have to get ready to look for them and they, guided by the same Holy Spirit of God, will reach us and they will give our soul the comfort, strength and everything that we need to be able to face our situation and we can move forward. Here are some biblical texts or verses of encouragement so you can read in difficult times.

1. Trust in God

1 Corintios 10: 13

1 Corinthians 10:13 ” No temptation has come upon you that is not common to men; and faithful is God, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, so that you can resist it.

We must trust that the good God has given us the way out of this difficulty we may be going through. He knows our hearts and in the midst of difficult times we can often lose sight and not be able to recognize the exit even if we have it in front of our eyes, that is the moment in which we must trust God and receive a little of his peace to that we can notice that escape route that he provides us.

2. God is by your side

Deuteronomy 32: 6

Deuteronomy 32: 6 “… Isn't he your father who created you? He made you and established you. ”

He, Almighty God, is our father and since he is good, he always takes care of us. He knows us since before we were in our mother's womb and that is why he is the best helper we can have, especially in those moments when we think the world is closing in on us. He is our father and creator, he takes care of us.

3. Never stop fighting

Hebrews 11: 32-34

Hebrews 11: 32-34  â€śAnd what else do I say? Because time would be lacking telling me about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, as well as Samuel and the prophets; that by faith they conquered kingdoms, they did justice, they reached promises, they covered mouths of lions, they extinguished impetuous fires, they avoided sword edge, they extracted forces of weakness, they became strong in battles, they fled foreign armies ”.

We must think that just as these men of God achieved victory, we will also achieve it. They were imperfect and went through difficult situations but they were filled with God and thus they were able to recover, faith can help us to have peace even when we are going through a great storm.

4. Prove you're strong

1 Peter 3:12

1 Peter 3:12 “For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and their ears are attentive to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. ”

Faith is what leads us to believe that he is ready to listen all our prayers, especially those that we do in the middle of moments of difficulty. God hears us and fills us with his strength so that we may have courage and not faint in the midst of difficulty.

5. God help you in everything

2 Corinthians 4: 7-8

2 Corinthians 4: 7-8 “But we have this treasure in clay vessels, so that the excellence of power is from God, and not from us, that we are troubled in everything, but not distressed; in trouble, but not desperate. ”

In this text we can see that the human being always goes through tribulations, but that in God those tribulations do not rob us of tranquility and trust in God but that it keeps us out of all anguish and despair. We have God within us and his power makes us strong at all times.

6. God will never miss you

Ephesians 6: 10

Ephesians 6: 10 "For the rest, my brothers, strengthen yourselves in the Lord, and in the power of his strength."

This is a clear invitation to strengthen ourselves in the Lord, this must be our priority in the midst of difficulties and at all times. Keep in mind that God is our strength provider at the time we need it. Let us not faint but on the contrary, let us take strength from God himself and move on.

7. Believe in the Lord

Salmo 9: 10

Salmo 9: 10 “Those who know your name will trust in you,
Because you, O Lord, did not forsake those who sought you."

In this text we see that we must first worry about knowing the powerful name of the Lord and, from this moment, not separating ourselves from him. This psalm is a promise that God himself will not forsake him who seeks him, so let us seek the Lord and we will always be protected.

8. Believe in the powers of God

Ephesians 3: 20

Ephesians 3: 20 "And to Him who is powerful to do all things much more abundantly than we ask or understand, according to the power that acts in us."

We can be sure that God is powerful, even for those things that we think there is no solution. He promises us that just as he is powerful in creating all things, he will be much more able to answer what we ask even beyond whether we understand it or not.

9. Live in peace

Micah 7: 8

Micah 7: 8 “You, my enemy, do not rejoice in me, because even though I fell, I will get up; even if I dwell in darkness, Jehovah will be my light.”

This is a text that speaks of our future, it tells us that although we are having a bad time and our enemies rejoice in our problems, God will always become our strength to rise, in our light that in the midst of darkness, follows us lighting the way so we don't stumble.

10. Fight for happiness

Matthew 28: 20

Matthew 28: 20 “Teaching them to keep all the things that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you every day, until the end of the world. Amen".

This is a promise. The man asks us to keep all his teachings and then assures us that he will be our company until the end of the world. In those moments that pray that we lose strength, courage and even faith, remember that he is always with us.

11. Win love to others

Hebrews 4: 14-16

Hebrews 4: 14-16 “Therefore, having a great high priest who pierced the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us retain our profession. Because we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who was tempted in everything according to our likeness, but without sin. Let us therefore come confidently to the throne of grace, to attain mercy and find grace for the opportune help. ”

We must remember that Jesus himself roasted on this earth and suffered in our own flesh all our ailments, he understands us in the midst of what we may be going through and takes pity on us. Let's stay close to him and enjoy his care and permanent love in our lives.

12. Strengthen your heart

Nahum 1: 7

Nahum 1: 7 “The Lord is good, a strength in the day of trouble; and knows those who trust in him.

God is good and this is something that we have known since we were little because in the church we have always been told about a kind God and it is that same goodness that keeps us standing even when we go through times when we feel faint. He is our caregiver and our guide.

13. Follow the path of our Lord

Apocalipsis 21: 4

Apocalipsis 21: 4 “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will be no death, no more crying, no cry, no pain; because the first things happened. ”

We have the promise that the same lord will wipe away our tears and the time will come when there will no longer be time to feel sad, alone, desolate, weak or without courage, but that it will be our rest. Let's not get away from him and he will take care of us and fill you with his strength.
