When to turn to Nossa Senhora do Carmo?
“Carmel Blossom, see Florida. Splendor of Heaven Incomparable Virgin Mother. Sweet mother, but always a virgin. Be favorable to the Carmelites. Oh starfish!
It was with this prayer that the Carmelite monk Saint Simon pleaded with Our Lady of Carmel to intercede for his order, that he was being persecuted.
The Blessed Virgin responded to Saint Simon's request and handed her a scapular as a sign of protection. The promise was that whoever uses the scapular well will not suffer in hell.
Thus, devotion to Our Lady of Carmel arose in a context of to stalk. Therefore, it is considered a refuge in which your children can snuggle, not to escape a danger, but to face it better.

“Lady of Carmel, teach us to say yes to the will of God. Help us to see in the events the provident hand of the Father. Give us the ability to praise him for choosing us. Teach us with your practical compassion to be attentive to the needs of the brothers. Take our hand and always lead us to follow Jesus, as you did to Calvary. May we always live in unity so that we can be your dearest family.
Virgin of Carmel, Lady of the Scapular, we find in you what we want to be: to live in an intimate relationship with Christ, to be totally open to the will of God and to let our lives be transformed by the divine Word.
You, who are the Mother and the Beauty of Carmel, teach us to live as children of God imitating Jesus.

“Oh Virgin Mary!
Lady of Carmel, Mother of Mercy;
We beg you thanks to Our Lord Jesus Christ!
Mother of Carmel, Our Lady,
Who receives us as beloved sons and daughters,

Godly mother
Teach us to shut up in difficulties

“Blessed Virgin Mary, Splendor and Glory of Carmel, you look with special tenderness to those who put on your Sacred Scapular.
Cover me with the mantle of your maternal protection, because I consecrate myself to you today and forever.

Illuminate the darkness of my spirit with your wisdom.
Increase in me faith, hope and charity.

Prayer to Our Lady of Carmel - Scapular
“Oh Lady of Carmel, dressed in your scapular, I ask you to be for me a sign of your maternal protection, in all needs, in the dangers and afflictions of life.
Accompany me with your intercession so that I may grow in Faith, Hope and Charity, following Jesus and practicing His Word.
Help me, O beloved mother, so that by conducting your holy Scapular with devotion you may deserve the happiness of merciful death with him in the grace of God and thus attain eternal life. Amen.
