God's creation

The moment of the God's creation, It is important that we know it, to know how we got to this planet. That is why, we will explain in detail what God did every day to create life in the universe, taking into account what the bible tells us.

How was the world created per day?

As we have already commented previously, God created the universe in 6 days, and on the 7th day of rest, so, below, we will explain in detail, what our divine and omnipresent father did on each day specifically:

Day 1 at creation (Genesis 1: 1-5)

According to Genesis 1: 1, we are told that God created the heavens and the earth in the beginning, where the sky refers to everything that is beyond the earth, that is, what we know by space . Additionally, we are told that the earth was disorderly and empty in verse 2, which gives us to understand that all the elements within the earth were disorganized and that there was no life.

Then we are told in verse 3 that God called the light day and the darkness night. And what corresponds to the evening and the morning he called day one, which in the original Hebrew text this expression:

  • "It was late, tomorrow was day one."

Creation Day 2 (Genesis 1: 6-8)

On the second day of the God's creation, We are told that when it comes to saying expansion in God's creation, it can also be understood as a firmament, this is why, on the second day, God creates the firmament. According to the analysis that was made to these, it was thought that when he spoke of the waters that were on the expansion he was referring to water vapor.

And when he spoke of skies, he was referring to the atmospheric skies that cover the world, like a great dome with the presence of atmosphere, where plant and animal life can be housed, which would be created in the following days.

Creation Day 3 (Genesis 1: 9-13)

On the third day of the God's creation, the dry land is created when the waters separate, since when the waters separate, the water is contained in one place allowing the existence of the land. Next, God gave him the order that plant life be given birth on earth, through herbs and fruit trees, and that both have the ability to reproduce according to their type and through seeds, since, through These later the man and the animals that would be created later could feed on the aforementioned.

Day 4 at creation (Genesis 1: 14-19)

On the fourth day of the God's creation, our lord creates the celestial bodies and the stars in the universe, additionally on earth he creates the sun that will be the source of light and the moon that reflects the glow of said star. Both the sun and the moon, influence from that moment on terrestrial times (Day and Night), as well as their seasons.

Likewise, these two celestial bodies come to influence human occupations, such as agriculture, their orientation and animal reproduction, as well as some phenomena that are derived from the position of the earth with respect to the celestial bodies, giving life to the solstices and equinoxes on earth among others.

Creation Day 5 (Genesis 1: 20-23)

It is on the fifth day of the God's creationWhen the marine beings that will inhabit the waters are created, as well as the birds that will cross the skies, these were also created according to their gender. That is why, it is said that all these living beings were created at the time of creation.

In Genesis 1:22 God blessed the animals saying:

  • "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters of the seas and the birds on the earth will multiply."

In Genesis 1:23, this is how the evening and morning of the fifth day were made.

Creation Day 6 (Genesis 1: 24-31)

On day 6 of the God's creation, is when terrestrial animals and man are created. These animals will be divided into three genera: beasts, snakes and animals of the land. After this, God went on to create his last work, when he makes man in his image and likeness.

In article 26 it is mentioned that God:

  • made man in his image, according to his likeness, that all aquatic beings will live in the sea, the birds would belong to the sky, and that the beasts, throughout the earth, would inhabit and let all that living being that came drag on the earth had to live attached to it.

  • When God says that man was made in his likeness both in his appearance, he means that he gave him the ability to have his own character, such as having the possibility of being an autonomous conscience, so that they can make their own decisions.

When God finishes creating man and finishes his work of perfect creation, God is satisfied when he says:

  • "He saw that everything he had done was good in some way."

In verse 1:27 we are told that he created man in his image, that is, in the image of God and created him in male and female. Additionally, in Genesis verse 1:30 it says:

  • “May all the beasts on earth, all the birds of the sky and everything that is dragged on earth to have life. Just as every green plant will serve as food, and so was the afternoon and morning of the sixth day.

Creation Day 7 (Genesis 2: 1-3)

On the seventh day of the God's creationWhen this culminates his creative work, in the Bible we are told that God rested on Saturday, blessed it and sanctified it. By that day God had finished the work of creation.

By sanctifying the Sabbath, God reminds us from the very creation that we were made by him, and this day of rest decreed by our father must be respected and obeyed by all those people who claim to follow God.

Importance of God's creation

You can have different points of view on this subject, but we have to emphasize that God created this world, in such a way that everything was for the human being, and that his greatest creation was humanity, since they were created in his image as his likeness, so that these might love and serve God. And God in his infinite love gave us this world with all the possibilities, so that we could develop, grow and follow the teachings that he left us.

To end this post, we must say that it is very nice and interesting to know how God created this world. Where part of what happens in each day of the God's creationIn some way, it becomes part of the teachings that were later given to us, in the presence of his son Jesus Christ.

This is why, if you want to know more about the origin of our world and the universe, in addition, how we came to live on earth and how we were populating it. I invite you to read the Bible specifically Genesis in this case to learn more about this.
